Does my dog need to be well-trained?

It is helpful if your dog knows a few commands like sit, down or wait. If not, that’s no problem. We can use a leash which I can edit out later.

Are you able to work with an anxious, shy or reactive dog?

Of course! I actually have an anxious dog myself and have very good understanding of dog body language. I understand they may need extra time and support. We can discuss your dog’s individual needs in our pre-shoot call. 

Where are you based and are you willing to travel?

I am based in Downton Brooklyn and will be covering NYC, Brooklyn and Jersey City along with other areas where I am able to get to by public transport (1 hour traveling time max). I also offer upstate shoots which cost slightly more. I would be willing to travel further for an extra cost. 

I also travel often so if you are interested in a shoot, please don't hesitate to reach out and we can discuss if I will be heading to your part of town!

What locations in NYC do you shoot in?

The main places I shoot are Central Park, Dumbo, Midtown and other iconic locations in NY. When you want to book, we can discuss what photos you would like and go from there. 

What time of the day do you do shoots?

I shoot all times of the day depending on the light. This really is dependent on your dog and also the location. Ideally, we would look to do shoots early in the morning to avoid people. Also, if your dog is easily distracted or anxious, it is better to shoot with less distractions and in a quieter environment. 

What if the weather is unsuitable?

Worry not, we can reschedule or change the time of the shoot. I want you to get the best out of this experience and I am more than happy to accommodate for that!

Do you shoot multiple dogs?

Yes, at an additional cost of $75. We can discuss expectations on our pre-shoot call.

Do you photograph humans with the dogs?

I mainly shoot dogs but if you would like a few photos with your dog, we can fit that in!

When and how do I have to pay for the shoot?

You will be required to pay a $50 deposit to secure the shoot date. The remaining amount can be paid anytime up to the shoot. 

You can pay for your shoot using Venmo or Zelle. If you do not have either, we can discuss other forms of payment.

I am unable to offer payment plans at this time. 

Do you offer studio sessions?

Not at the moment. I am happy to do shoots in your home but I specialize in outdoor photography. 

When will I get my photos?

Turn around for photos is usually 2 weeks after you have selected your favourites but could be up to 4 weeks in busy periods. I will be able to give you an estimate at the time of the booking.

Can I get printed photos?

I do not offer prints at this time.

What is the cancellation policy?

A shoot can be cancelled up to 3 days before the shoot. If there is an emergency or something unexpected comes up, we can reschedule the shoot. 

Do you do event photography?

I do! I absolutely love being at dog events and seeing the dogs enjoying themselves brings me so much joy!
